GHS Class of 57 BJFamily Bob's 50th Birthday Tunnell Family Wahab Family Whichard Family

Whichard - Wahab

A Work in progress!

Check back soon for new stuff.

I have been asked, "Where did you get the funny name for your web site?"  Well - it's like this.  Some years back, Betty and I got interested in researching the family name Wahab - her mother was a Wahab and the name has some notoriety in Eastern North Carolina with close ties to Ocracoke  Island.  The name has even been tied to pirates and such by some folks.

Well, I got so interested in this genealogy stuff that I started looking into my family name - Whichard - too.

I needed a place to share all this information so I set up this web site.  Have you made the connection yet?  The site name is a combination of the two family names which(ard)wah(ab).

The site has become a place where I can share, not only information on our families, but other things as well.  If you look hard enough you can find a spreadsheet where I keep up with my season tickets to the Carolina Hurricanes Hockey team!

So that's the story!

Here are some pictures of the Cornelius family.
